Denzil thank you for your comments and from the other posters  yes Hartlepool is on the north east coast sandwiched  between Sunderland to the north and Middlesborough to the south as with your grockles  we poolies dont talk about them

i am fortunate to be able to walk across the road to take these shots  but the chances have been few and far between this  year due to inclement weather conditions   the man at work is a regular snapper to my little area but never seen him post  here

i must change that as he will have some great stuff looking at his gear,

cheers Ian

Welcome from me too Ian. Yes I looked at your photos, and Denzil is right, they are all very good. Thanks for posting them. By the way, its easy to confuse Ron, just put three forks against the wall and tell him to take his pick. I think he is really Irish, just a fealing you understand.

 thanks for the welcome

i have a great knack of confusing people....... ask the wife

being from Hartlepool we have to  have a sense of humour   who else would vote a monkey in as the Mayor

well the truth of it was the monkey was the best candidate and got re elected and is still doing a great job Smile

there looks to be a bit of the irish in your avatar Denzil,  reminiscent of Ned Kelly
