Hi,

Here is hoping we are going to see some good eclipse pictures. I was hoping a 10 stop filter would arrive in time , but it did'nt. 

I managed a couple of shots with a lens that allowed stopping down to f34 . Maybe I will be better prepared next time.

I'm just about to post one, don't expect too much, it's taken through glass with a P&S camera, all I've done to it is crop away a few clouds from the edges. As I say it's not great but it's something.

I watched the eclipse looking through my neutral density filter. Had I not been feeling a bit "cream crackered" (very late night) I really should have taken the trouble to screw the said on my Nikon. 

 Ruth's picture just shows what can be one with the aid of some grey cells.
