The featured photographer for this thread is TONY TOOTH who joined POE in August 2006 and has consistently added a wide variety of photographs to the site.  I love his avant-garde approach to his photography, covering all genres from landscapes to flora, from village scenes & churches to surrealism.  Thanks Tony for adding so many beautiful and interesting photographs onto POE.

Here is one of Tony's earliest photographs submitted to POE

Quainton windmill, Buckinghamshire. New Year 2006.

And many of you will recognise one of his latest photos

This picture of Tony's has the highest rating - the "ratings" are dependent on the number of people who leave a comment on the photograph and award a number of stars to it.  So you can see your comments and star ratings do make a difference!

Yes we have a very skilled photographer here, someone very able in his technical skills alongside having a great eye to spot a picture in a multitude of different subjects. I have always seen Tony's pictures as something I would strive to emulate. Super Shooting Tony.

Oh yes, Tony's brilliant.  He's a master of composition and arguably one of the best macro photographers on the site.

Thank you for adding that lovely selection of pics.  I hope there will be many more added by members.
