Thank you so much. This is a great site. Sorry didn't mean to post it twice I thought it hadn't gone through. Every think you say is correct re:

If this property is connected to the Rev Francis C, then his clerical career went from---St Stephens, Cheltenham, Stroud, Theale (West Berkshire), Yeovil, and within a few years , he's now at Broadstone, Dorset.

I am certain somehow this property is connected to the Rev Fracnis C. This photograph could be in Stroud or Berkshire or Yeovil in Sommerst. All the De Beauvais are dead now. Robin De Beauvais never marred or had children the last in line.

Still do not know how Rev Canon is connected to the

The Theale mentioned is a village in Somerset, not the one near me, where it is mentioned the curacy [Christ Church] comprises 4 acres of glebe and residence and held since 1917 by the Rev. Francis C de Beauvais. The vicarage might have been in the nearby village of Wedmore. But, to your ship connections------

In 1871, Robert North Beauvais describes himself as a retired ship owner. In 1881, he describes himself as a retired Master Mariner; probably a ship captain.  He died 15 March 1896 at the Quay, Bridlington, Yorks.  He left an Estate of £1,784-8-8  and a Mr Edward James Smith, bank manager and a Mr Francis Charles Brett, physician applied in London for Probate of his Will.

I think Paul could make a living as a professinal genealogist. I would certainly like to spend a day with him, and learn how to search the web for such information.

GO PAUL! And GO CATHY! You're hot on it too.
