Mick Carver has been submitting his photographs on POE since May 2006 and has shown us many exceptional pics of England.  Mick has an amazing way with black and white pics too as you will see if you view Mick's photos at

http://www.picturesofengland.com/user/lerual/pictures/

For a little history - here is Mick's first photo on Poe

I think this one as about his 4th pic on POE, another lovely black & white one

I could add many more here but would much rather you all took a look a Mick's pictures and added your personal favourites to this thread.  (You can use the link above!).  Please don't forget to leave a picture comment so that Mick knows how many of the POE members appreciate his photos and his generosity in sharing them on the POE site.

I am sure you will enjoy his pics as much as I do.Smile

I make no excuse here as I will show quite a number of Mick's photos. I have always admired his standard of photography, technical skills and broad spectrum of subject matter. In fact some of Mick's pictures are out there for the taking, but a lot of us would just walk straight past not seeing what is right in front of us. However, Mick is always generous with his comments of others pictures giving both his views and encouragement. It was Mick who posted the first comment on my first picture on POE and has regularly commented since, thank you Mick. Now some of Mick's photos that I think show Mic's photographic skills.

I am sure that everyone will agree that these are really beautiful photographs and Vince made a very good point about Mick's supportive and constructive comments.

Well done Mick in all respects.
