As I mentioned earlier in these threads I need to step up the number of Featured Photographers otherwise we will never get anywhere!

This photographer, participant in the forums and medieval historian is our first American Featured Photographer, who has been a member of POE since Jun 2005.

That would of course be ROB FALEER.  One of Rob's earliest pictures on POE is this one of Ledbury, Herefordshire.

And who hasn't had a giggle at the various places Bath Monkey has turned up??

Thanks Rob for your pics, your input into the threads and for sharing your knowledge of medieval history with us.  May you go from strength to strength.

Rob's pictures can be found here:

Please feel free to add other pics of Rob's and comments etc. to this thread.

Another great choice CathyML...thank you, and edited to create a clickable link to Rob's pictures. Well done Rob!

Rob also adds info on some threads and from the other side of the Atlantic fills in some of the historical blanks for us. Well done Rob----Here is one to make us all grin.

I like this picture allot. I love the hue of the building, contrasted with the foliage. I especially like the way the old Yew tree bows over and the light comes through.

I love churches and church yards.

Although I love the cat and especially the Bath Monkey because they make me smile big, I really like this picture from Bradford on Avon. I love the architecture of the doorway but it is the sun shining on the other side that attracts me with such joy.

Barbara: I also love that shot. My wife Shirley and I stayed here for two weeks while I was doing some research in Oxford. Sometimes she didn't feel like coming with me to Oxford, so she would sit at this window and drink tea, knit, read and doze.

I just added a few more shots of the cottage--Little Thatch in Lillingstone Lovell (Bucks.):

Thanks also, Urmi, Sue and Cathy E.! I'm delighted to be this month's Featured Photographer (thanks to Cathyml)!

What a honey of a cottage, Rob, looks like a great place to stay.  Thanks for adding them to the thread and on POE.
