Our last stop on this tour is at FARNHAM which has a Castle dating from 1138, Vernon House (now the town library), Birdworld & Underwater World - I couldn't find pics, sorry & Hog's Back another area of beauty with magnificent views.

So many parts of Surrey were "pinched" to add to the Greater London area, many of which had sights and attractions well worth a visit, this has made the trip around Surrey much quicker than it would have been.  Been still very enjoyable I hope!Smile

I think Surrey must be another county that no one stops in - just drives through on the way to somewhere else.  So I do hope that next time you will stop and look around and take pictures - because there are lots of places with no pics and no descriptions, which makes it difficult to decide if one wants to visit it or not!!

So that it is - probably the shortest whistle-stop-tour so far.   I am hoping you will all add your pictures and information and stories and recommendations here, to help anyone planning a visit to Surrey, to see the best and make their plans.

Thanks for spending you time on the tour, I do hope you enjoyed your brief visit to SURREY.Smile

I wonder how many members are actually at any of the above locations over this weekend, without knowing what you have put together CathyML? Well done anyway!
