We will now head northwards to TONBRIDGE where we can visit Tonbridge Castle with it's 13th Century Gatehouse.  There are boats to hire on the river of you can join an organised river trip in Tonbridge.  Nearby is the 14th Century Penshurst Place & Gardens

When I looked for the town of Pluckley I see that is supposed to be the most haunted village, but there are no pics, is the village too scary?? lol

MAIDSTONE.  At Maidstone we will find the beautiful LEEDS CASTLE,  Archbishops Palace a 14th Century Building, Allington Castle built in the 13th Centurey (no pics!), Mote Park, Chillington Manor and at nearby Otham we will discover Stoneacre

Continuing North we come to the North Coast of Kent and CHATHAM where there is the Historic Dockyard on an 80 acre site (lots to see there!)

ROCHESTER is our next stop and there are lots of attractions to see, Rochester Cathedral begun in 1077, Upnor Castle, Charles Dickens' Chalet, Rochester Castle, the Guildhall, Restoration House, The Corn Exchange, Eastgate House Museum, Watts Charity Hospital.
