I saw this competition and maybe it is an idea for the great photographers on this site. Watch here:

WIN £5,000

Join Cambridgeshire Agenda in our search for the Great British Photograph by showing us your favourite photographs taken in the Cambridgeshire area.

Not only will you have the chance to win £5,000, you will also have the chance to have your photographs seen in Cambridgeshire Agenda and in Photography Monthly magazine. It’s an opportunity not to be missed!

The competition is open to everyone and all areas of photography. The only categories are the names of the British counties.

You can enter photographs you have taken of landscapes, people, events, objects or buildings, in fact, anything or anybody that you feel sums up the spirit of Cambridgeshire at any time of the year. You can also enter as many images as you like by simply uploading them below.

Each county and the Greater London area will have an overall winning image and commended images. For Cambridgeshire those images will be chosen by Photography Monthly editor Grant Scott and Cambridgeshire Agenda editor Olivia Abbott. The winning images from each area will then go forward to a national final to be judged by a panel of professional judges to decide the overall winning photograph — the Great British Photograph, which will win the grand prize of £5,000.

It’s easy and fun to enter, so why not  upload your photographs to the form below and help Cambridgeshire win the Great British Photograph competition.

Competition Closing Date: 12 midnight GMT, 30 September, 2010

Image Specifications: Only digital JPEGS should be entered."
