I resurrected this thread from last year.  Hope you all had a lovely first day of spring (first day of autumn for our Cathyml) and anybody else S. of the equator.  Although I think England really gets a touch of spring in late winter, with all the crocuses and snowdrops.  I think I'd like my next trip over there to be in spring.

I know spring has arrived when I start hearing the sweet little birds merrily chirping and singing at 4:00 AM!  I also love when things are just starting to turn that bright green and flowers blooming as in Graham's photo here:

Thank you Cathy. I took it in April 2009. A similar view was on one of my calendars at home and I had to try and reproduce it. Thanks also for your comment on the photo in my photos.
