If any of our clever POE members can identify these pictures/places, Cathy will be delighted and I will then move them into their correct location.

Sorry I can't help you, but I'll be interested to see where the middle picture is from, as it looks like a place I would love to visit.

Sorry CATHY E...

Cathy L seems to think the third picture is a farmhouse and Hop Kilns (1986). I have a note on the back of the photo that this was a 16th century farmhouse in Bromyard, but I have been unable to confirm this on the internet. I would think it would be a listed building.

Of the middle picture Cathy L says: Outer curtain wall with bastion and crossbow loopholes. I did think that this was possibly in North Yorkshire somewhere around Hemsley, as it was in with my pictures of Rievaulx, Kirkham, Byland. I have looked extensively on the internet but have found nothing to match. Would love for someone to indentify this.

Cathy L says of the first picture: I think this might be Ludlow but it could possibly be Chester, as I did a trip around a lot of black and white villages on this holiday.

Hope that helps a little.

Cathy L, may be a good idea to look at flickr and type in where you think the pictures are of, I have been looking myself but there are so many of those buildings and so many different designs therefore you need the original with you while looking. flickr has many thousand pics which members have uploaded and quite a possibility someone has taken the same picture, Good Luck
