Stephanie:

Glad to hear that your boys like Bath Monkey. He does seem at times to have taken on a life of his own. Since we moved last July, we have not located Bath Monkey, but I'm sure the cheeky little guy is hiding out in a box somewhere in our storeroom!

Just quietly throw a banana into the room Rob, peek through the smallest opening, he'll soon come out of hiding! Lol

Actually, if I had a pint of Bowman Quiver Bitter or Fuller's London Porter to set out for the little rascal, that might do the trick . . . provided I didn't drink it first!

Monty:

It's a pity how those bears just take all those lovely ruins for granted.  Smile

Thanks Ruth - he is the reception class bear we took out on his travels! According to his diary he had spent most of his time at the local shopping centre so far so we took him out to see the countryside!

BTW Ruth - the carvings by the window in my picture are vandalism over the years! People have carved their names in the castle walls over time - some of the carvings are very old though!

Thanks for the info, Steph.  I noticed the centuries of grafiti in some places.  I have a picture of I'll have to send in.  It was carved into a crypt in Wimborne Minster and was dated 1647.  Evidently Cromwell's soldiers were billeted in the church that year and one of the soldiers carved his initials.  It was so cool! (but not at the time of course.  lol)

Great news Ruth, I have found some more furniture to go with your "concrete sofa"
