Can I draw the attention of our members to the wonderful pictures of Hurst Green, Lancashire, by Sue Bristow? Well documented Sue, this little known gem of England.

I like this one, it feels cool and refreshing lol Roughlea is a small hamlet set at the southern foot of Pendle hill in lancashire. its the home of Alice Nutter one of the famous Pendle Witches who was hung at Lancaster Castle in the famous 'Witch Trials'.

I told Sue Bristo, Michael, that if she keeps posting Lancashire pics, the place will be overrun.

Ribchester's not too shabby either.

Oh, yes, Rick, one can definitely be homesick for a place one has never been - especially if that place is England! (IMHO)
