Its always a pleasure when a picture receives some nice comments so here's a chance to tell everyone about some of your favourites.

This picture is one I think captures the moment pefectly, taken by Peggy Cannell. its a picture of Southwold  in Suffolk during last weeks high tides and storms. Nice shot Peggy!

It is really difficult to choose a favourite to spotlight, even when narrowing it down to a recent one, cause I have seen so many I really like, but if I had to choose just one it has got to be this one of the New Forest by Steve Elson. The New Forest is a really enchanting place to be, particularly at this time of year, and this picture portrays that perfectly.

By the way, the above is one of my favourites from November 2007. I had to narrow it down because of too many to choose from. I'm going to try and get a few sort options put on the 'latest pictures' pages, so people can view pictures by week, or specific month etc. This should then allow us to all vote for a 'Picture of the Week' each and every week.

Great Idea about the sort options, should be handy.

It is very hard to pick one favourite picture, I think its a case of having quite a few of them.

Here is another from quite a time back that is worth a look. It's from  Helen Vallis, and its a picture of one of my favourite places, Becky Falls on Dartmoor. Its received a lot of good comments.

Oh I have so many favourites!!  This wonderful picture of Clovelly in Devon is just one of them and its by Hilary Hoad
