I'm checking reports this morning of the storms last night....yes, all three towns where my relatives and the one I was born in were hit with heavy with haill last night (Nebraska)...but no tornadoes so far. I went back into emergecy hosptial an second time about 3 am with aute pain, they say the same diagonsis ...strained leg muscle. AS I left this morning I was surprised to see "Angel" up and in his truck getting ready to leave for work, his wife in her car when I returned....getting ready for work. Saw the doctor, he had me place his hand on where it hurt and he said, yes...this is your muscle around your knee cap and perhaps some of the tendons...and I told him....I don' t know why this is happening either...doctor I saw this morning told me to switch the Tylenol to Ibuprophen...the latter he says might help it heal better as it an infammatory and might help..then he gave me an huge dose of it before leaving. I came back and slept for four hoursout ot the last 24. Hubby went in on his eye problem also, he todl them the same thing...he woke up with it...and has not idea how he acquired it...they told him maybe he sneexed in his sleep? Hum...it's pretty badly "blood shot to have slept through something of that magnitude an injury. Other then that it's an same old thing today...and hope I can get this book read and find out what the big secret is all about on the "Shroud of Turin" for someone to muder another and all kinds of mayhem going in the book....if he ever see's his brother alive again also. His brother now is just finding out how close he is to Pope John Paul and their connections and work...along with this exhibit of the man that was murdered.

World isn't that more troubled then in the previous years, just we got differnt issues to solve Ron...and since it's our era timing we thnk they are more dramamtic then what we would like them to be....because they tend to affect us more personally right now. You have an good day...I'm going to take another nap and get up and make some Potato encrusted Cod with an nice green salad for dinner tonight....and Berry shortcake.   Dr. made me promise to call in next week and give him my progress report on the muscle strain problem. Sit down an let it heal... he says!

Doc knows best Shirley.....doesn't he/she?

The Junior Doctors over here obviously don't want their jobs and by going on strike have now proved to the government that the staff who didn't strike can cope with the demand in our hospitals, effectively strengthening the hand of the government who intend to impose a new deal on them. Serves them right if they do get the mucky end of the stick.

That si what closed our Skilled nursing facilty in it's day...the helpers had to have helpers citing that they more they could do...the more the patients could pay...they were wrong. It's like selling cars with fancy instuments these days, people can' t keep up with the cost of the autombile for all the extras.....Yes, they are nice to have, but also inways uneccesary to keep down the costs so the service if affordable. One thing I hate...computer only generated nursing going on...no contact with an actual person. Families and love ones have sued some nursing facilties stating that they never answered the call button outside thier door...... when the patinet asked for help... and they died on the scene. like all things.... anything can be under done or over done...it takes an real wise "boss" to run and nursing shift...and knows how far it shoukld go on either side.

I see they are closing the files on the death of JonBenet Ramsey....citing they believe Micheal Helgoth killed her and sid he did at one time..her mother is dead nwo also...Sad. We have such sex "bimbo's" as it is..why give thid kind of life to an innocent child. Her services should never get to much past Disneyland type stuff and innocent things. Its said the Ramsey's were diven an Ransome note for $118,000 and the motive for her death...he later also is said to have committed sucide. Now as to little "madaline" and what happned to her.

We are seeing the Royal family this morning on the news...I guess their new book came out....while I finished mine today. The author says it took him 10 years to write..now I don't feel so badly...it ended up they proved that the murder was an sucide in the end. It was not revealed earlier because it had an profound aspect on the Shroud of Turin being hosted by the Vatican and the emerging of the Orthadox Church with the Catholic as to thier clergy and commitment to up hold each other...and solve many wounds from thousands of years that passed between them.... They ended the tribunal in Pope John Paul's offices at the Vatican privately. Brilliantly written...I'd recomend the book, it's now out in paper back. It might take God himself to help write my book. Just talking about it recently saw every [ost wiped out before it even got posted. Someone is trying to greatly control the truth concerning our family.

I guess I go for now..my kitty cats wanted out and yet it almostlooks like it could rain...pain bearable today..but far from gone again also. My doctor is an "him" type. He is suppose to be an specialist in medications. He was one of the few they could find with some credentials in this small town of ours...most of them in the emergeny clinic are nothing more the Regtistered Nurses running them.  The hospital is an large system of them, and they wanted to build our area into" after surgery hosptial" and small time stuff like birthing, and day surgery...and call the specialist docotors out here to see the patients...the big hosptals downtown are having problems finding parking to accomdate the city and suburbs as they grow...or so I was told one time.  I go for now. I am an very hard patient to be having my psychic abilty...as I "feel" many others medical needs....besides my own problems.  Every Easter for years on end, I kind of like "die" with Jesus on the cross in ghost like sysmtpoms. A very good nurse or doctor must be intuitive to be really good...and well educated also...and now you know Casey Decoursey, director of nursesfor an Portland hosptial told me I was wasting my time not being in the medical as an employee...but I stil gave Ithink much hope for many where I worked to survive daily at times. It was hard for me there also, for one thing I gave up my own "family life" for others and I can still hear them callling my name to help them out in something.I wen tback once after my son was born and created such an riot of them all the way down the hall wanting me to come and visit to see him as an baby.  I generally don' t talk to much about this side of my running my department. I got calls afterward from my staff saying they didn't like the next in charge of our department after I left and asked I come back..please...or solve thier problems for them...I said no...I left someone there to solve your problems, trust her and communicate with her and see to it they are solved...she has been an co-worker for years at your side.

Water under the bridge...hubby is home, I must go for now..have an good evening!  Last night the first night I slept more then I was up an awake all night in an week.

Where do you find the time to write these lengthy posts Shirley? Great they are and always interesting, but wow you don't half put some effort into POE for us eh? Thank you of course, but a pity we couldn't get a few more to post now and again, rather than just look in to see what's going on. We have the regulars of course, but a few more would be good.

Haven't heard from James lately, hope he's okay. Maybe he's been suffering the head cold, sore throat bug that's been doing the rounds?

I agree Ron, I like to hear what others are doing also...you think if I didn't post much, they would come back in and talk to us some? We have all kinds of people looking in on posting here. Suggestions?

I don't think posting or writing less will help Shirley, indeed it would make things worse wouldn't it? At least they do visit and read whats going on, but it would be nice to hear from a few more members now and again.

To be honest I would have thought there would have been a lot more threads on photography, or 'where in England' so that the pictures of England come into their own.

Nevermind, we shall continue in the hope that they do post a bit more often.

WEll darn it ...my fourth posting wiped out...they won' tleet me talk to John L either in th eother web site...we live in the same basic area. Though he almost moved back to Alabama with Grits one time I guess. I can rember one time

when we sent out cards to people we didnt' hear from in the forums here...esp if they were new to the site here. But when they never post it's kind of hard to be freindly enough to get their address or phone number to dial them up and ask what they've been doing lately...and they just wiped out my plea to James to let us know what he's doing and

where he's at right now.... that he's not here. See, my posting looks like scrambled eggs tonight as it is.

Ron, It is indeed a shame that there is now so very little on England or Photogrsphy in the forum. Edward Lever and I have attempted to provoke some response to photography in the forums,  but it's normally only us who respond, other than of course from you.

I cannot offer much now to a forum that has seemingly failed to attract much at all recently. Pictures get little or no comments, and I have held off commenting on them much, as to be frank they seem to be rather bland or I hate to say poor. If I were to comment truthfully on some, I would probably asked to leave the site. So I don't. I'd love to comment on pictures more, but like the forum, it seems to be on a rather steep slope of decline.

England is a wonderful country, although it seems to be polically incorrect to say so. Saint George's Day came and went without much comment in the media.

I truthfully hope things can improve.  For any proof of what I think, look at the pictures submitted say two years ago. Also look at the number of comments they attracted. Just as many people are taking good pictures these days. Sadly they are not sending them much to POE and I really think this is a shame.

Please accept these comments as being sincere.

Must agree with you there Rod the picture side has dried up a bit  so has the forums-you may have noticed  there are a few members logging in but not posting --and the people who are submitting pictures very rarely pass a comment --maybewhen the weather gets better we will hopefully see more pictures appearing ---and as you said in your post there are quite a fewaverage pictures being submitted.Smile

Thanks for your input Rod. I can only hope the members picture quality improves, but that said I am not the person to dertermine good from bad, or even poor as is probably the case with most 'photographers' today compared to some of you guys. I will mention it to C&S just in case they are not aware of the comments and maybe they can be a bit more selective.
