Television news reported last night that a woman here in the UK diagnosed with type1 diabetes is living in her car after being evicted from her home, due to the owner wanting to sell.

The woman is employed as a Carer and the local Council won't help yet they (like a lot of other Councils here) will provide help, homes, nursery's, schools, doctors, hospitals, food vouchers and jobs for those who have contributed absolutely nothing!

How can this be right? I think it really is time we stood up and said enough is enough!

Time to start some petitions to local MP's maybe?

Typo corrected...

Hi Ron I totally agree the system is very unfair in that respect.

David Cameron has agreed £1.2billion for Syria yet can't rehouse our own people like the woman that this thread refers to!

Nice to hear from you Neil

I think if the truth was known, everybody is getting really P****D off with all this,--only a handful of them round my town but time will tell.

There is a 200year old former convent 5 miles away from me and there is talk of 20 families being housed there-i would like to see the state of it after a few weeks.
