 You are still not right, we are talking about a remake and the original had such an impact that churches changed service times so as not to loose worshipers.

Is this the remake of Poldark, staring Aidan Turner, filmed I see near Padstow and partially in Wiltshire ?

 Guess who got clever and got it right then !!!  Well done Ruth, Aiden was a dwarf in the Hobbit and a vampire in another supernatural series. 

    In the 70's they did indeed change the times of the church services in the evening as the original Poldark was such a huge success , there was even a Poldark Appreciation Society that was ( if not still is ) active for many many years.

       Lyn and myself did meet Robin Ellis and Angharad Rees  ( Ross Poldark and Demelza ) at a book sighning in Truro followed by a wine and I think nibbles Q & A after the book store closed.
