Here we go again Smile I deliberately left out the exact dates in the 60's and 70's to make it harder, seems it didn't work. Well done Ken, you want to apply for Mastermind Smile

Over to you.

Thanks Ruth. What is the name of the city in the south of the United States of America that reminds tourists of Venice in Italy? There are many people dining there under colourful oversize umbrellas beside the water day and night..

Let's have a shot at Fort Lauderdale I remember there being more water there than roads, but I don't remember the town itself too well it was a long time ago.

There is John, and I've been there, it didn't look anything like Venice Italy, it all very modern, we walked miles on the beach there.

There's also a Venice in Louisiana, but I don't think we're looking for a place named Venice, rather a place like Venice.

Yes ,it's San Antonio. The River Walk is a scenic flagstone esplanade bordering both banks of the lazy, narrow San Antonio River winding for 3 miles. San Antonio is sometimes called the "Venice of America" (or "Venice of the Texas Plains" or "Venice of the Southwest".  Well done Ruth.

Thanks Ken, John, a bit of a wild guess that one. I'll be back when I've had a think.
