There is a small building at Orrest Head with views over Windermere, it's not a building you can go in, its a stone block with what looks like a map on top.

I've done some miles round the Lakes this afternoon and this evening Dave, what with this an researching Cobham Mill for Vinces I Spy I'm exhausted Smile

I'm guessing it's not The Bridge House in Ambleside.

Just so I don't look a complete fool if this is by any chance the answer - The Coastwatch Station at Stepper Point in Padstow, Cornwall. Built as a viewpoint to check on all sea going vessels entering and leaving the Camel Estuary and the Atlantic beyond. It's a very small white building with large windows.

I can see Ken sat there in sunny Brisbane waiting to leap in and grab this. Talking about Ken, have we heard from him since that horrific storm they had in Brisbane ?
