Lights are off downstairs. Curtains drawn upstairs. Out to meet a couple of mates in half hour. Pub will no doubt have something halloween going on!!!

Good evening everyone. No trick or treaters here, we are the only inhabited house in the area, which is 3 miles from the nearest proper road. The other five cottages in the row are all holiday homes and are empty.  All we can see is the sea 

All quiet round here now apart from a few rockets passing over--they must have plenty money

   Mad as ever James, had a few at the door tonight, there was one young lad ( about ten I guess ) really done up well as the "grim reaper",even down to the blood smeared blade. I told him about the Dutch  rock band " Blue Oyster Cult" and their song -- " ( Don't Fear ) The Reaper " .   I think it went over his head !!

Only had the kids around about 7pm--8-30pm then went quiet.

 Tis quite now here as well - EXCEPT- the blooming fireworks are at it now.

Have you let all yours off Vince??

 We are not a family that likes fireworks at all- seen the strees it causes to animals .
