I'm thinking about buying a smartphone and using Tango.

I hadn't heard of it until a couple of days ago, but it appears to be a big concern so anybody have any comments?

Never heard of it Ron, but if it's anything like Android be very careful, a lot of the apps are lacking in the security offered by Apple and Windows phones. Our eldest son has a cheap Samsung phone running Android (by Google)  which he takes to work with him when he has to go through Saudi Arabia. He won't use it for any banking purposes or internet shopping because he doesn't trust the security, he uses his iPod touch for all that stuff. Just a thought, Apple and Windows vet their apps, Google don't.

I've just looked it up Ron, it's Android based.  Personally I wouldn't touch anything running Android. Just be aware of security if you buy one - or lack of it. A recent survey showed that 99.9 per cent of security attacks are on Android based devices.

Thanks for that Ruth I will certainly research it over the coming days and take particular note of your comment re anything Android based.

From what I can see already it's a minefield.
