It does Dave, we're in the middle of nowhere here, 6 log cabins set in woodland and the internet is twice as quick as at home Smile

I might just give it a shot Dave, not much to tell today but I'm sure there'll be something tomorrow. Must make a note to write stuff on a document first though Smile

Good evening everyone, just been for a lovely walk, the scenery is wonderful, and we can't complain about the weather, if anything it's a bit warm. I suspect it's not going to get dark anytime soon either Smile

Dave, I'll start the postcard from tomorrow, when I've though if a title Undecided

Good evening to all you good folk out there and glad to that you have arrived safley Ruth. Those weather conditions you describe sound good but with the location do you reckon those famous Scottish midges/mosses will be about- hope you got some repellant if needed. Enough negative stuff , have a great time and work that camera of yours.

Thanks Vince. We came prepared we have some fantastic stuff made in Scotland called Smidge, it doesn't contain that awful ingredient Deet which is like poison, so it's quite pleasant to spray on. We've also got a good supply of citronella candles and plug ins. That said we haven't seen a midge yet, nor did we last time we were here 4 years ago Smile

Of course David has to carry Adrenilin pens whenever he's outdoors because of his allergic reaction to we know not what, something stung him one day and he got treated in A&E so quickly my faith was restored in the efficiency of the  NHS.

Sounds like A&E is quite a long way away- prevention definately better than cure.
