Well, Paul, I seem to have joined Elton John and Billy Joel, whom cancelled their concert here because Elton John has an upper respiratory ailment, so do I, I spent four hours today in emergency while they gave me something to relax me from the coughing, and taking my 165/99 blood pressure down to 144/72....plus they did an EKG to make sure it wasn' t my heart, and an chest x-ray to make sure there were no signs of pnuemonia, and an blood test to see what they could find. I got an inhaler and predisone tablets for one week. I've been resting since then today. Something going around, daughter in-law and grand-daughter are out fo rth enext two day also, one withsinus infection and head cold, the other with stuffed up head, sore throat and light fever. comin got my house?...be sure and brign your face mask. I said, are these com,patible with my heart medicines?..Yes, no problem, get home they are listed as incompatible on three of them, Benicar, low dose Bayer asprin, and an blood pressure drug I have...so I guess I don['t take those for an bit just to be on the safe side?...Hum. At any rate, for now I feel better just not coughing constantly...or maybe I shoud say "Hacking" myself half to death like I was an chain-smoker al la carte for years on end. Everyone right now is quietly ...sleeping.
