Right!!

I deny anything and everything. I have done nothing illegal, immoral or fattening....ever ..er...mostly. I am pleading the amendment that people plead when they might incriminate themselves. Diana...What is that amendment?

Maria...they are winding you up. They are making up the rules as they go along.

For your information, I went to a motorcycling event in Dijon, three of us riding our bikes from Northamptonshire to Dijon, then onto Lyon for a couple of days, then an epic ride from Lyon to Northamptonshire in one go, apart from comfort stops of course...and tolls...and cramp...and poor visibility.

Thank you all for your well wishes. It is good to be back in the land of the (In)sane again.

Regards, Ray

LOL @ Lyn!

Pleading the fifth is the label commonly used in the US legal sphere to describe the act of invoking the right against self-incrimination. The fifth in this case, refers to the Fifth Amendment of the US Constitution which grants various rights to people including the right not to testify against oneself in a criminal trial.
