Hi Sue. Nice new picture, I must get round to fixing mine up some time, not a real priority.

So you became a bird watcher at 21 or 22, that would mean that you have been a bird watcher for all of five years.Wink

Regards Roy J.

Hi POE. Thanks for the offer. I am looking for a picture that has a better resemblence of my facial features.  If I can't find it and I have not managed to submit a picture by Saturday, please add that picture as mentioned above, Thanks Roy J.

Hey Roy, is this a better resemblance of your facial features?  http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b217/strangey05/039_44561.jpg

Hi Sue. That picture is OK, but even when I had it, I never let my hair get that long. But thanks for the complimentEmbarassed.

POE. I have tried on several occasions to put the picture that i would like onto the avatar but somehow it never seems to get through. I don't know what i am doing wrong.  So, in the mean time please put the picture that you indicated in as my avatar, at least it will make Sue happy and get Ron off my back. Thanks

Regards Roy J.

Roy, I bet if you sent POE an email attachment he could get it up.  The power of POE as Ron would say. And I'm no Brad Pitt fan, in fact I'm no any movie star fan, but his was the first (and only) face I could think of. I'm sure you're way better looking than any of them in any case.

I think my Bitten has gone, that or the neighbourhood cat got him, I'm scared to go and look.

Tomorrow is my bird watching day, and I get to take my new camera with me. Let's hope it doesn't snow like it did this morning, and the wind doesn't blow like it did on Monday, and I may get to practice a little.

Hi Sue.

How did the watching go today? Anything interesting?

You know, with all your mentions of your local weather, you are quickly distroying my ideas of the Nevada Desert.  I thought that it would be stinking hot, dry, no rainfall for years on end, no greenery or plants other than the odd cactus and with vultures swooping down onto the drying bodys of cattle.  Or have I been watching to many old cowboy films?

I had the usual visit form my resident Mistle Thrush today.  He/she must have young close by. Instead of just eating a couple of raisens as usual, it returned several times and took away as many as it could carry in its bill.  Got a decent picture of it which is to be submitted ASAP.

I cannot count the number of Starlings and Blackbirds that have been feeding at the table this last couple of days.  This table is only four feet from the back door and the birds show no fear of us.  In fact they seem to be waiting for us to put their food out. Once a bird, a Female Blackbird actually came and sat on the kitchen window-sill, and tapped on the glass, and they talk about dumb animals.

The smaller birds, tits and finches prefer the feeders that are more isolated further down the garden.

Is that a picture of Brad Pitt?  I'm afraid i don't know him. I don't follow American Football.

As you can see POE has sorted out my picture for me.  Thanks POE.

I tried several times to submit a picture that I thought was more fitting, but with no luck.

Regards Roy J.
