I once saw a heard of chickens in flight over the marshes near Rye in Sussex. As they descended they disturbed a swarm of sheep grazing in a field.

Sadly, for some reason I’m not sure of, my camera malfunctioned.

Have you ever missed a once in a life time event by a malfunction?

Yeh. I missed a fantastic photo once through a malfunction. My memory malfunctioned, and the battery was flat in my camera. By the time I pumped it up, she had gone round the corner. The photo oppertunity that is.

My garden is full of baby birds. Noisy little devils, and they poop on my washing (think I've told you that before though); but they're as cute as buttons.
