Lyn, when I was a kid, everybody seemed to say the maners thing. Especialy my mum. When we asked for something and forgot "please", thats what she used to say, followed  by, "so he can have it". We soon learned not to forget "please and thank you".

It was the same for me Peter, you had it drummed into you to say please and thankyou, and i've never forgotten that, it costs nothing to be polite!
