Our phone number belonged to a business before we got it....it's taken me 3 years to get off the tele-marketer lists BUT the thing about it that bugs the hell out of me is the idiots that ask for the business manager or owner AFTER I've stated that this is a private residence  Yell Yell

Discourtsey. Whay are people so rude? What does it take to acknowledge a gracious act? I will stop in my car in order to let someone cross the road, and there is no acknowledgement, no thanks. All it takes is a little raise of the hand, I'm not asking them to bow down on the road in gratitude.

I also get upset when driving, and people don't use their indicators. They can see you are sat at an intersection waiting for a space to get out, then they turn without indicating and you've missed your chance.

Would you like more? HA! (I'm up in Oregon and I miss computer and being able to post my smiley faces)

Well, as long as we're confessing... :-)

We've all been there - You're number 20 in a line of twenty cars, with clear road behind you to the horizon, and someone waiting on a side road decides to pull out immediately in front of car number 20 (you!), only to putter along a short distance and then turn off again. I guess they couldn't have waited the extra 10 seconds required for you to pass... Frown

Sue is right - It comes down to discourtesy and impatience. We want it and we want it now, I'm afraid. Embarassed

Goodness, I have to agree with most of you on most things!  But Sue H and I are second cousins when it comes to discourteous behavior in general. It makes me crazy; whether it's discourteous drivers, people shoving and pushing to get on the train before you, or those in the office who feel entitled to leave their dirty lunch dishes in the sink (with the food still on it) and expect someone else to come in and clean up after them. What has happened to common courtesy? Honestly, it's enough to make one hate peopleYell

Not anyone here of course. LOL!

I agree about the lack of maners. Do you remeber the  old saying,

Maners, pianers, tables and chairs, all belong to the man upstairs. Most definately does apply to some people. I dont answere to, "Oy you". Anybody else?

People from every walk of life portray bad manners....I definitely agree with Sue about giving way to some drivers who then just pass by without any acknowledgement.  The other thing that drives me mad is the hysterical cheering and shouting that drowns out the voice and beauty of a song we're supposed to be hearing...witness the raucos noise that smothered the boy on that talent show last Saturday, singing Pie Jesu....the idiotic audience whooped, cheered and whistled when they should have sat in stunned silence.Yell

Sometimes they're on so long that you forget what you were watching! I love watching F1 and cant wait for it to go back to BBC! The whole race is spoiled in ITV.
