I would post more here if I could justify their relevance to the location so to speak. Andy.

I have thought that about some of the pictures I've submitted, after seeing many pictures here that made me raise my eyebrows, but then I found myself submitting a picture of two snails, Go figure!

I would LOVE to see more of your bird pictures.

Here are three of my favourites, one of which is yours.

Hi Roses!

In the little free time that I have I like travelling with my husband, my dog and my friends and learn about new places, know their traditions and history, try to talk to the locals and along the way read, take pictures and paint on a blank sheet of paper. Only try to passing well in the best company!!!

Jen, is there any archaeology in Oz? Not a lot of history either I would have thought. But I can see how it would keep you busy looking. He he he.

Oh yeah, I forgot that some of your relatives were in that movie too Peter (flying monkeys) LOL!

GREAT bird pics Sue!

Last summer I looked out my window into my back yard and sitting on a branch in one of the trees was a gorgeous hawk.  Right across from him was a squirrel that was frozen solid in fear.  I watched for a while and finally had to leave to run an errand.  When I returned home two hours later both the hawk and the squirrel were still there.  I don't know how long he stayed...but he must not have been hungryWink

Neat story, Diana.

Too bad you didn't have your camera handy.
