It says you have a sense of humour Di, something lacking in the world today.

We all need a laugh now and then, it's by far the best anti-stress medicine.Laughing

There are these two women, each missing a leg. What are their names?

Peggy and Ilene.

What do you call a cow with no legs?

Ground Beef.

Oh dear, I am afraid that I owe POE and all of my friends here a HUGE apology.  Apparently the last post I made to the Joke Thread was not appropriate to a family friendly site.  Fortunately, POE caught it and deleted the post before it did too much damage. Embarassed

In truth the post was forwarded to me by a friend and I just read a small portion of the joke before posting it.  That’ll teach me!  I am not sure what was so offensive in the piece (and I don’t think I want to know!), but please be assured that no offense was intended and I have learned my lesson about carefully proof-reading any jokes before posting.

Again, my sincere apologies to everyone here and especially to Chris and Sarah.Cry

Hi Diana, no need for an apology at all! We just felt that it wasn't entirely family friendly material and as such decided to err on the side of caution. We hate deleting any posts, and it's a real fine line sometimes between what is acceptable and what is not. We truly appreciate your understanding and support.
