During a visit to the mental asylum, a visitor asked the Director how do you determine whether or not a patient should be institutionalised.

Well, said the Director, we fill up a bathtub, then we offer a teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket to the patient and ask him or her to empty the bathtub.

Oh, I understand, said the visitor...  A normal person would use the bucket because it's bigger than the spoon or the teacup.

No said the Director, A normal person would pull the plug out.

Do you want a bed near the window?

It was late at night and Amy, who was expecting her second child, was home alone with her 3-year old daughter, Katelyn.   Amy started to go into labor and called 911.  Due to a power outage at the time, only one paramedic was able to respond to the call.  The paramedic found, without a doubt, that the delivery was not going to wait until they could get to the hospital.  Since the house was very, very dark, the paramedic asked Katelyn to hold a flashligt high over her mommy so he could see while he helped deliver the baby.  Very diligently, Katelyn did as she was asked.  Amy pushed and pushed and after a while, little Conor was born.  The paramedic lifted him by his feet, an spanked him on his bottom.  Conor begn to cry.  The paramedic then thanked Katelyn for her help, and asked the wide-eyed Katelyn what she thought about what she had just witnessed.  Katelyn quickly responded, "He shouldn't have crawled in there in the first place.  Spank him again."
