Anyone heard of George Hackney? Just watched a documentry on him and very interesting, armed with a small bellows camera he produced a stunning set of World War 1 photos never seen until recently and he was not an official photographer. Was on BBC 1 Northern Ireland this evening at 9, should be able to pick it up on i Player.

Hum, spoiled kids I don' t think still come out it with everything "rosey" these days.  Ok, I came back with some Dean Martin...Andy Williams..my Bing Crosby, Barbara Streisand and an mix of other geat favorites...but I thought I'd maybe update the old trasitior radio that plays "CDs"..with an bass player one and I never solved that problem. Just aren' t out there these days thanks to Ipods and computer music...but kind of hard to turn down the football game on TV, and listen to the Christmas music otherwise as one eats...at teh wrap around lounge type table we have in my house  Tonight is the semi-finals for "Dancing with the stars" and net week is the show for this season. Hallmark TVstation is now into the Christmas shows, esp on the weekends now. I can't find any of my tapes and I wonder where they went to..and by whom. I go for now I guess and call it another day's ending for now.

My mum makes ours apple sauce, problem is she makes it in industrial quantities, I've got tubs and tubs of it in the freezer. I dread to think how long some of it has been in there. What's betting this Christmas she makes even more Smile
