I will be posting poems in here again soon. And I do still plan to write my book about my life. I didn't realize I had so much support from everyone.

 So glad it's Christmas time,

As we seem to share a little more love,

As we try to not be greedy,

Remember Jesus is watching from above.

I can't help but think of children,

And their bright-eyed smiling faces,

Wishing all children could be this happy,

I know it is very sad in some places.

Sometimes money is hard to come by,

And we don't know what we're going to do,

But taking "time out" for your child,

Weither it's singing Christmas songs, or coloring a page or two.

"Time," doesn't cost money,

It requires us slowing down,

I catch myself alot saying, "I don't have time."

Now remembering my son's frown.

But Christmas can be a joyous time,

Weither you are rich or poor,

Weither you sleep in a king size bed,

Or weither you sleep on the floor.

Jesus loves us all,

And he wants us to remember,

That he is the "reason" for Christmas,

Have you thought about him this December?

I thought I was logged in, and I guess while I was writing the poem, it logged me out, I should've checked it . Anyway hope you enjoy this poem. It's 3 am and I am very sleepy. Been cleaning house, placing decorations up, My son helped me put the Christmas Tree up. We sang 12 days of Christmas, got to number 10, and we started laughing, cause we couldn't remember the rest of the song, without our little book.  We sing it every year, as a tradition. So thankful my son is not tired of our traditions. I miss my daughter wished she was here. We just talked for 25 minutes, guess she was missing me too. Now maybe we can both get some sleep.

Happy Birthday Jesus, hope you enjoy your cake we will make for you, for it is "your" birthday.  I know we will enjoy the cake. We love you Jesus !!!!

Your avatar didn't show because you took more than an hour to compose your Christmas poem Jeannie. Perhaps you need to write it down first, and then spend a few minutes posting.

Anyway, a nice meaningful poem which I feel sure members will appreciate, well done and thanks!
