Excellent article Andy! You are indeed very talented.Smile  Thank you for sharing that info. I am not particularly knowledgeable about our feathered friends but every spring my heart lightens at the sound of their song, and every winter I am amazed that such tiny creatures can stand cold that would kill me!

Andy, that was very fascinating and informative. I love my birds! It gives me great joy to hear them in my back yard. I have 3 silver maples, 5 birch trees and several evergreens along the back and sides of my property. So we get many birds around here. I love to feed them but considering my circumstances I have not been able to lately. I miss them terribly. They are such beautiful creatures. But I love your photographs. They help me to feel closer to my maker by seeing the beautiful creatures he made for us to enjoy. Thank you so much for sharing with us!! Smile

Well done Andy. The feeding tips are particularly good. I love to see the birds in my garden - living next to the nature reserve gives us such a good variety of visitors, we regularly have the nuthatch, great spotted woodpecker and long tailed tits come to the table. I need a longer lens for my camera to capture them though!

I'd be setting up a little temporary hide, placing it near the bird table for a week or so until the birds got used to it, then at the crack of dawn I'd be in there with a flask of coffee and sandwiches Stephanie!!!!!! I'm not kidding either!!

I could sit in the play house Andy! My children scare all wildlife away - I only got the robin pictures because Terry had took them to the toilet!!!
