Sue & Lyn, dont worry about spelling mistakes. I dont, as long as everyone understands what you mean, so what? Due to a severe illness as a child, I went to hospital when I was 4 and came home when I was 13. So I only had two years to learn and didnt do very well in spelling. But I always blame it on the computer leyboard or say I am dislexic

I managed to get in to university and passed all my exams with high marks. I had to drop out because I couldnt afford to stay there. But, I dont care when people laugh at my spelling and make jokes about it because it IS funny.

Peter.........I admire you for saying all that, cant have been easy for you, we're not laughing AT you, you're just a very funny guy full stop, you have a great sense of humour and are very witty. Dont ever change. I never even got to university, I never had the chance, I never even took my 11+ exam so had no chance of getting into  high school either......so well done for that!

I second what Lyn has said Peter....and it's borne out what I have always believed, that literacy has absolutely nothing to do with intelligence....apparently there are quite a few people of 'note' who were none to good with their spelling but it did them no harm....more power to your elbow Peter!

Thank you Sue and Lyn, I know you are not laughing at me. Even I think it is funny the way I spell. That is why I said it IS funny.

Peter, I absolutely agree with Sue G-R and Lyn and you know that there is no need for me to say anything else because we are, despite what the members may think sometimes, good friends aren't we?.....Pillock!
