All it will do is alienate yet further the various religious factions that supposedly are working for peace in our lands. Who can they trust?

My god! This is so tragic. All I could think of when I heard it is that this could have just as easily have been Southern California where my nephew is stationed.

God bless the families of the victims as well as the family of the man who perpetrated this crime. They will have to live with the stigma and horror of what their loved one has done.

Apparently this man was US born of Iraqi immigrant parents .... a military trained psychiatrist ..... soon to be deployed in Iraq. From what has been said is that he was unhappy about the US army killing Muslim families and unhappy about being sent to Iraq.
It seems to me looking at this from afar is that many in the US can only afford a higher education by becoming 'apprenticed' to the armed services. In today's 'war against terrorism' there is the obvious disadvantage of being a Muslim.

Boy, this hit close to home! A boy from my town was injured in the attack. Shot four times but is now recovering. He's only 20! I'm still in shock over the whole thing!
