From the male point of view, what will you do with the socks, shirt or tie that you received for Christmas that you have so many of? What about you ladies, the soap, the smelly's, the pants that don't fit.....will you exchange them for cash, keep them hoping to get into them one day, or what? C'mon now, you can tell Ronnie and I promise not to let anybody else know!!

Hi Ron:  Lucky for us, we don't have that problem this year.  We scaled way back on gift giving.  I only got one gift that was a little useless, a clutch purse.  It's really pretty, nice soft leather and it's like an oversized wallet and only has slots for cards, drivers license, cash.  I can't use it for a purse because at a minimum, I need something big enough to include my phone, reading glasses and car keys.  So I'm improvising and using it as wallet which I will carry in a slightly larger purse.

C'mon now, you can tell Ronnie and I promise not to let anybody else know!!

I'm holding you to that, Ron, lol.

Same as Ruth here, we cut back on presents a long time ago, apart from immediate family, so didn't have any useless ones at all, we only buy what someones would like.

Well, my father-in-law died recently, so it wasn't really a happy event this year

Sorry to hear that Patrick! Wasn't for me this year either, so I am glad it is over. Looking forward to a better year this year! I hope you can too! Will keep your family in prayer!
