I love the Lake District! The sheer size of its lakes and mountains gives it an 'other worldly' quality. There is a thread about Favourite English Places on Enjoy England's forum(www.enjoyengland.com/forum) and there are some great suggestions if you'd like to go and have a look and join in the debate.

Actually I found out about this forum on that site - very nice Cool
