Roses~

I have such fond memories of going to the market on Fridays with my Mum and my Gran to see what treasures the vendors had. And being the packi-rat that i am; I still have many of those treasures. The "Buttercross" is a dear place to me ~so much so that my cousins all chipped in and had a large watercolor done for me with the Buttercross, St. Marys Church (where my parents were married), the Fens, the memorial statue to Sir Harry Smith ( ~yes, a close relation!) and several other special places in Whittlesey. It is matted and framed and hangs proudly in my living room.

I remember Ramsey as a child being a fun village to visit as well. The East is a beautiful part of the country that often gets overlooked for more famous places. But to me it is heaven on earth :)

My favourite place has to be where I live, here's a video of the Bedfordshire countryside, its from a place I go to quite a lot, Sharpenhoe, just up the road from me,  and have posted photos of it here in POE. I can even see my house on it lolI have to admit its not me hangliding though! LOL

Just beautiful Lyn! You are a lucky soul to live amongst such beautiful land. The video reminds me of what we see coming out of the clouds to land at Gatwick....I never get tired of it.

Who was singing that song? Very romantic!
