I absolutely adore this show for its wonderful scenery of Port Isaac in Cornwall.

Doc Martin is a bit of a strange sort of fellow, I have a feeling if it wasn't for the stunning setting, it may not have had quite as big a following.

It must be just aweful for the residents to have their town taken over as a film set...imagine the tourists flocking in....I plan on being amongst them one day! :)

They also filmed Poldark here I believe, loved that show as well...but note entirely for the scenery!

I watched Doc Martin when it first came out too Ann. Cornwall is a wonderful place. You can visit Poldark mine too which is in Helston. It's a bit "touristy" but a good museum.

You are correct of course Ann, but we think this is what makes it a terrific show, we loved it! The scenery is an added bonus, beautiful...

I've never heard of Doc Martin. Maybe it hasn't made it to the States yet.
