Just for information----A Place of Execution (a three part play--last one next Monday at 9.00pm on ITV) was filmed in the tiny village of Simonburn in Northumberland.   I stayed here in May when they were just finishing filming.  The village has also been used for some of the Catherine Cookson films.                Type Simonburn in the search box  if you would like to see pictures of this very pretty village near Hexham in Northumberland.

Me neither Lynn ---It takes all my time to try & keep up with reading the forum posts!!

I only watched it because I knew where it was filmed.  I think Robson Green is producer and as it's a Northumberland story, perhaps it's only on in our region.

Hi Rick, Cranford was filmed in Lacock, Wiltshire
