They have recently released the DVD of this wonderful but all too short series here in the US.  I lOVED this program!  Ian Richardson was superb as Dr. Joseph Bell and Charles Edwards made a handsome Arthur Conan Doyle!

I love the series where Jeremy Brett portrays Holmes. I just recently watched The Dancing Men. My girlfriend used to belong to a Shelock Holmes Club.

I haven't heard of this either, Diana, but I love the Sherlock Holmes stories, especially the Hound Of The Baskervilles!

Wow!  You folks are missing something! If you like Sherlock Holmes at all you'll like "Murder Rooms".

Catherine, I too loved Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes, he was by far my favorite Holmes. I watch the re-runs of the shows on PBS every time they play them.

Sue, the "Hound of the Baskervilles" is my favorite as well!

It was shown twice on the local PBS channel where I live, but I haven't seen it there in  a long time.

I saw one episode of 'Murder Rooms' from Netflix. I was superb ! I centered around a ghost story in a dark wood, and a young woman pedaling her bicycle home along a path at dusk. It must have been a very early episode - if MR was a series - because Holmes and Dr. Bell met for the first time. Ian Holmes is so wonderful, and Charles Edwards was charming to watch. A decent pairing of talent as well as story telling. Good Show !
