I presume you mean the Royal Park Hotel in Lancaster Terrace Debbie? Location-wise, for seeing London it would be handy with places walkable or only a few stops away on the Underground---Marble Arch station I suspect.

Also from Heathrow, the train service of Heathrow Express https://www.heathrowexpress.com/   isn't far away. If you have a car, I'd ask about their car parking charges, and don't forget London has a Congestion Charging scheme in force, if you bring a car into London.

Sorry Ron i did not make that very clear, 

But Paul you are right thats the one. They do have parking with a charge but i think we have decided not to rent a car for the 2 days we are in London because of the cost and trying to always find somewhere to park is hard from what i hear so we will rent our car in London for our journey away;-) Thats why i wanted to make sure this is a good locaction for us to walk to places and i hear the bus and train systems there are really good. Thank you for the links also!

Hi Debbie:  I think driving in London would be a nightmare.  You definitely don't need a car there.  The public transportation system is fantastic.  They have people-moving down to a science.  What I would suggest would be to order an Oyster card.  It's the public transportation pass for the London buses and subways.  You can order a card worth say £10 and they just swipe it whenever you use it and you can add more money to it if need be.  I ordered ours from visitbritain.com. 

One more suggestion - I think I might take a train to a smaller city or town and rent a car there.  I wouldn't want to try driving in London at all, especially since it takes a while to get used to the reversal of things like the drivers seat, the left side of the road, etc.  And the streets in London are super narrow.
