In recent years, we have usually gone to the South Coast, our favourite places being in Dorset, such as Weymouth, Abbostbury, West Bay, Lyme Regis, and across into Hampshire too, for Portsmouth and Poole, Southsea and the Isle of Wight. Had some great holidays in these places.

We like Lyme Regis, and it's worth it just for the stroll along the historic cobb harbour, though be warned the town itself is quite hilly so is not for everyone.

The Yorkshire Dales are stunning throughout the year.

My own home city of Liverpool fascinated me still, after seeing it change radically over the years. I find it vibrant and often frustrating, but I love it.

For me our country has much to offer both tourists and photographers.
