A very bad storm 4-am right through until 6-am this morning and now torrential rain so its a day inside to-day

No storms but very wet across the pennines this morning. Windy Hill, Scammonden, Little House on the Prairie only just visible. Good job it wasn't windy as well. Then as usual dried out a I dropped down towards Manchester and the M61 for Preston.

That's about normal for Windy Hill, I couldn't see it either when I looked this morning. You're lucky it wasn't snowing 

It seems to have missed us for the moment John and no the site isn't running slow here. Stay safe mate.

According to the Met Office "they have been known to be wrong"we are in for a hot spell--to-day up here it has been in the Eighties and it is going to be the samr to-morrowso all you poe vacationists get the sun lotion out.

Just been outside watering  and its still very warm.

Bit cooler today, light winds and cloudy.....lovely!

Not a cloud in site here gonna be another scorcher ,, keep it coming ..
