I'm not grumbling, Ron. I missed out on summer last year because I was doing the radiation and had to keep out of the sunlight. This year I am going out every single day to soak it all up and enjoy every single breath I take.

Besides, summer in the Great Basin is short and sweet. Gotta make the most of it.

Wow, did we have some storms here last night or what? About 5 or 6 storms I reckon chasing around and more to come later apparently.

So what's the weather like where you are and did you get the same last night?

Yup, about 2 o'clock last night and it was like a rock concert- Marshall Amps at ELEVEN.

We are supposed to get the same again, at dusk time the clouds got heavy and the colour of the atmosphere was really quite wierd, but nothing happening yet.

And do not ask about the shop.

Hi John, I know-  I just keep telling myself at least we will be cosy in the winter and we do not have any form of heating other than the machinery. Oh and Tuesday my fan by the press gave up the ghost, I was well surprised to see a new one arrive in the post first thing this morning.

Only in the high 90's for us today, so cooling off a little.  We desperately need the rain though. The earth is parched and cracking.

I've been following the storms in England though. Sounds pretty wild.
