160 miles, takes a good two and a half hours. Makes for a long trip to go to the Doctors or any decent shopping.

Today would be a good day to go though, as the weather is nice, blue skies, a few clouds, cold but no snow.

Of course, that could change between here and there. It's all desert driving, so the snow blows horizontally.

The other day, coming home from the city, the snow flakes were so huge it looked like someone was throwing hundreds of snowballs at the windscreen. Beautiful, but a mite scary.

A chilly 18 degrees but it feels like -1 degree with the wind chill factor. Also, very windy - I saw my neighbor fly by the window a minute ago...and I am on the second floor. ;-)

160 miles to the doctor? Sue, thats like the other side of the earth. My GP's practice is just about 5 minutes drive away, completely free consutation and treatment and I probly moan if I have to wait more than 5 minutes in the waiting room lol.
