But now since the days are shorter, it gets up to the 90's by mid afternoon, but it will go down into the low 50's or high 40's at night. It's about a 30°-40° difference in the daytime highs and overnight lows this time of year. But the sky is blue, blue, blue and we just hit 60 days today since our last measurable rainfall on Sept. 5. |

Anyway, today in Oxford it has been cloudy and cool, with rain of course and the temperature about 12c I reckon. Think we might get our first frost of the season after tomorrow night according to the forecast. |

We've just had a very cold October .... average temperature nationwide was 10.6°C .... -1.4°C below average. This has only happened four times in the past 100 yrs, the last time in 1945. Currently though November is shaping up nicely with temperatures round 23° - 25°C with blue cloudless skies. Edited by: Kahu at:7th November 2009 10:27 |

Yes, we could use a drop of rain, Ron. Everything's pretty parched. Today was gorgeous though, low 80s, light breeze and sunny. They're calling for more of the same all week. Yay!! I only have to work Monday and Tuesday, then I have a 5-day weekend.
Wednesday the 11th, Remembrance Day, (we call it Veterans Day) is a paid holiday where I work. |

It's about 19°C, (70° F), with not a hint of a breeze at 10:48 AM. So, I'm outta here. Denzil's chompin at the bit for a long walk. He's been sick the last couple of weeks, so I have to get him out for some air. See y'all later. |
