The month of March - In like a Lion, out like a Lamb!

Red sky at night sheperds delight

Red sky in the morning sheperds warning.

This one is usually right

The March winds shall blow and we shall have snow.

With changing weather patterns, most of the old sayings may not work for much longer.

Its always nice on 6th March, thats cos its my birthday lol

Rain before seven, fine before eleven.
Evening red and morning grey, two sure signs of one fine day.

(I've not heard of this one before but found it on google )

Going back to the original saying about March "In like a lion, out like a lamb!"

I hope the lamb takes over soon, as the lion still seems to be hanging around at the moment!

Hi Peter, to carry on with your verse, when I was a child, (many moons ago) we used to say:-

When March winds do blow, we shall have snow, and what will the birdies do then poor things,

Just sit in the barn, to keep themselves warm, and tuck their heads under their wings, poor things.
