Pictures of Penmon![]() Picture by Nigel Humphreys © Submitted by Nigel Humphreys ©(28th July 2006)A picture of Penmon Penmon lighthouse, Anglesey, North Wales situated at the end of a narrow lane past the village of Llangoed. The best time to go and see this amazing lighthouse is at night! This stunning and spooky lighthouse hosts a very large black bell and it chimes quite loudly every thirty seconds each and every day [and night]of the year. I was so taken by the atmosphere around this lighthouse I returned the following month and pitched my tent there and stayed all day and all night, simply lay on my back stargazing and listening to the haunting sound of Penmon, defender of peril! Be warned..one visit and you're hooked! A picture of: Penmon, Isle of Anglesey Photograph taken with a FUJIFILM FinePix S3500 ( Focal length: 6 mm, Aperture: f 2.8, ISO: 3638820928 ) This picture also appears in the following picture tour: More pictures by this user user contact user profile use picture in website or blog Image ID: 1025387Image size: 563 x 750 pixels Add a comment...Please login to make a comment on this picture © 2001-2013 Pictures of England.com - All rights reserved Terms & Conditions Please support this website by advertising your business or kindly making a donation - Thank You. |
